Which one did you get and how hard was it to fit?

Do you have any pictures of one fitted?

Thanks :)

Joe, forum member GeorgeS78 has one. There's a picture of it fitted to his car in the 'New GTI' thread at the bottom of page 266.

You could send GeorgeS78 a PM to ask him if he doesn't add to this thread. He was last on the forum yesterday lunchtime, so would be likely to pick up a message.

Thanks dude. Did you have to remove anything off he front bumper before installation or was it just a caselection of drill straight into bumper and do up some nuts?

Correct nothing to remove at all
Just put her onto ramps and away you go.I held mine on with masking tape and made sure she was sitting right then drill and bolt
It's a real subtle splitter but when parked next to another gti it makes a huge difference

I take it you didn't need to use any of the glue as the holes wernt more than 3cm back?

I'm making a video on installing one so just trying to get ahead lol

Thanks :)

To be honest nothing mechanical apart from maybe brake pads and tyres till the warranty expires.

Hi Jamie, did you just use self tapping screws to attach the splitter then?

Sure did
Put the polo on ramps. Held it in place with a low tack masking tape then screwed the splitter on when I was happy with the positioning
Been on for at least a year now and I have had no problems whatsoever

So it came with bolts or no? and you used enough self tappers in the pre-drilled holes and its been ok?
