Eco drive - tyres pumped up

I recently pumped the tyres up to the VW recommended higher pressures and have noticed an improvement in fuel economy. This 28 mile drive to work gave amazing fuel economy! Not a one off as I got similar today too.
The 28 miles included 10 miles on country B roads, twisty and villages and the rest dual roads to Cambridge (A428 & A14 aiming for 65mph using ACC). I did get up to 70mph a few times for over taking (I love speed
). Journey took just under 45 minutes.
Polo 1.2 with stock 15" wheels. Can anyone better?
