Hi. Just picked up new GTI today. absolutely loving it!

I like the 'display off in 10s' feature on the infotainment screen. However, every time i restart the car, the settings seem to have reset to default 'off' setting. Nothing else is reset so doesnt make sense?

Am i doing somethin wrong?

Even I too noticed the same thing happening on RCD330+ on my Polo6R.

I tried looking for solution in Radio controller module 56 but found nothing useful.

It's a default factory setting I guess.

Will post if I find the solution.

Had a similar fault on a Golf where the radio did not turn on automatically when restarting. Turned out to be the ignition switch contacts that were faulty.
