Do people's doors auto lock when driving off? If so how do you turn this on or off?

Car can do it, just needs to be coded. Why they dont code it in from the factory is beyond me....gather they did on thr pre facelift/6R.
I used Carista to code it on my 6C GTI......locks at about 12mph, unlocks on key removal from ignition.....also it a door is opened in transit it unlocks all doors then they lock again once the car moves above 12mph.
Also can then be switched on and off in the car menu if you choose those settings.

Odd, Carista didn't show that option for me - are you on an IOS device or Android?

Sorry I am a BETA tester for them.....it was me that asked them to include the config and is available in BETA but its awaiting release I guess. I thought it would be out by now I dont know as I always have a BETA release of the app.
I dont have any affiliation with Carista otherwise, good guys and have been prompt and helpful but Id of course prefer VCDS...suited my purposes though.

Is probably the best option to be fair unless you are happy to use something like Carista, ODBeleven or go with a full house VCDS cable and software.
I used Carista to do this car, but a few years back I had a new Mk2 Octavia vRS Blackline which had a nav unit with built in Bluetooth that was disabled at the factory.....I took it to a specialists with VCDS with the example coding and they did it for me for £15 I think..... was even good enough to say if i wanted anything else doing down the line he'd do it FOC.
If you live anywhere near Reading was a chap called Maiwand, owns MS Autos. I dont live that way now but id 100% have him looking after my Polo now if I did.
