Cross Polo 6R Upgrading to BCM Max with Auto light switch

Dear ciclo,
I have Cross Polo 2010 with light/rain sensor, auto dimming mirror.
I have bought almost all necessary parts for upgrading but i think that i can messed up with wiring
so I would like to ask you for help with wiring and guiding.
Also i plan to retrofit Bixenon headlights later, after i will finish installation of BCM max and auto light switch.

Sorry for the delay in my answer, I'm still on vacation.
I hope I can help you soon, but keep in mind that there are many people waiting my help to do exactly the same.
I could give you some initial help, but your 6R is a '2010' and we have to check it in more detail. Do not worry, it is not more complicated than the others, it's actually quite simple (at least to me).

About being patient, i am not sure
I already started to upgrading my polo...
at this weekend i was busy with retrofitting Climatronic and i decided to install new BCM at same time!
So I made wiring from BCM to IC.
I used the original wires that were left after installing the Climatronic.
I copied the Gateway installation list and the long coding from my old BCM and made the key adaptation.
Looks like it's working, except one wierd thing:
61-Battery Regul. it's appears in the list but in the Gateway it is not active...
How can i remove it?
i didn't made any other wiring, because i don't have necessary terminals.
Therefore, I have a hope for you in this matter!

This is the PDF guide you should follow, but keep in mind that some parts are exclusive to the Benji58' 6R.

Therefore (for your 6R), if you open and follow the PDF document you need the following:
WL0 ---- you only need from SB49b to SB57a, plus the two fuses (30,15)
WL1 ---- you already have it done
WL2
WL3
-WL3a ---- where it says, B (white) 4, must be B1. Everything else is the same.
-WL3c ---- where it says adapted wire, it should say original wire. Everything else is the same.
WL4 ---- you do not need the Butt terminal (blue), it must be a direct wire to the reversing light.
WL5
The fuse 54 (and its original wiring) is correct for the fog lamps for your 6R, now and when you install the bixenon headlights.
If you need me to do some of these wiring looms for you:
Look at the forum sales section (click on
Useful information at the end of the guide) and tell me what you want me to do.
I would prefer that you make the wiring looms because it would take me time that I do not currently have ...

In the Russian forum they have the terminals perfectly defined.
I will codify your BCM, for the moment forget about
the bug of 61 battery regul, it is because your BCM Max 7
H0 comes from a Bluemotion (7L6 Pr-code).

E0 BCM Max software is more evolved in these aspects.

I am very appriciated for your help, ciclo!
I will be honest, I do not quite understand how to do all those wiring looms!
I can try to make Automatic lights wiring.
Is this schematic diagram correct for my car?
Because i have pins 6 and 7 in my Original light connector.
Also i could make myself Reverse light wiring and License plate wiring, but for the rest wiring looms i would like to ask your help!
( when you will have time of course )

The wiring you just posted is for automatic lights. That is the step after BCM Max upgrade.

Yes! But this is the only scheme I clearly understand.
I can't make remaining wiring from that PDF because it's more like installation instructions (and it's a great instructions if you have those wiring looms).
But it's not a manual how to make them... ( at least for me)

Well, concerning the wiring loom for automatic headlights, it's the best you'll probably get. It's quite easy to make it from there, I've made many of then.
Don't worry about the pins 6 and 7. They are for functions that will be taken over by the 7E0 or 7H0 BCM. One pin is about DRL and the other, i don't know by heart.

Neither of the two pins are required with the BCM Max.
6 ... DRL ... (under conditions)
7 ... low beam with H7
This is explained in the installation guide.
Remove/isolate T17/7, T17/6, T7/3.
As I said it should be noted that the guide was made for Benji58 and his 6R.

Why?
It is not due to the cost of wiring. I can assure you that money it's not important. 100%
It is because if you make a mistake in the installation, I can be absolutely sure that the problem is not because the wires are badly manufactured. And if I have to give you technical support due to a poor installation (65% of cases) this makes my job easier due to having to figure out what the problem is with your installation.
Of course nobody likes to comment that he makes mistakes, ... however, mistakes are the beginning of great success...

i went to a Car dump and bought piece of interrior loom from Bluemotion Polo
What do you think about my purchase?
Can i use "449" relay for CH/LH?

Yes, you can use 449 for auto lights and CH/LH.
The wiring loom of the Polo is nice to study, but I would not recommend to re-use it.
If you want to re-use it, you'll have to remove terminals from the connectors, damaging them in the process.
Also you'll find most wires to be too short, because they do not follow OEM directions.
