Engine mount movement

Hi all
Looking at this clip, is the normal amount of play on the a Polo 9n engine mount as I can easily do this with my hand?

Is this normal in that it just sits on a cushion of rubber or is the rubber supposed to be harder and assist in stopping the engine from rocking?
I have replace the lower centre one and now looking a this one
Any advice appreciated
