Photo Hosting is now enabled
Hi All
We've taken the decision to allow users to upload images to the site to save you having to host them externally
In order to do this, when you make a post or a new topic, youll now see Attachments at the bottom as shown here
You can either drag and drop them into the message window or click Add files which will upload them
To add them to your post, youll need to click in the message window where you want the image, and then click Place Inline, and itll end up like this
Any questions please let me know
Cheers

Re: Photo Hosting is now enabled
Alex,
Do image attachments have to be in specifically PNG format, or can they be JPG?

Difficult to tell the scale / size of the slot in the picture posted by polo8312, but it might be to hold a credit card or the ‘swipe access’ type cards that some car park entry systems use. Some models of the previous generation Polo had two such card slots above the infotainment unit / below the right centre air vent, seen in the picture below;

Re: Photo Hosting is now enabled
Am I the only one who is failing to upload pictures?
First step works ok and it looks like a pic has been selected ok, but nothing will load and I see an orange warning triangle.
I think a small print message said notice board limit or something like that.

I can’t either, although until the problem (whatever it is) is fixed, you can always use a photo hosting site such as https://postimages.org/ to include pictures in your posts.
Upload your pictures to the host site, copy the ‘Hotlink for forums’ link for the pictures you want to include in your post and and paste the link into your post.
