Hi there

Please could you advise on how best to remove the gear selector cables from the ball joints, on my van they are held inplace with a circlip, trying to remove them on a 1.4tdi polo and cannot see a way to remove other than by using brute force!!!

They just pop off. Put a screwdriver between the ball joint and the mount and lever.
