FMIC or Uprated SMIC

Hi Guys,
Haven't posted in a while, been lurking in the background somewhere.
I am looking to fit either a fmic or potentially uprate the smic. I have a polo 9n3 1.9TDI Sport AXR.
I have spoken to dark-side and apparently the Polo AXR has a different turbo which the kits sold does not accommodate. (Supposedly a Golf engine/turbo)
so didn't know if some knowledgeable person on here can help me move forward with this.

Purchase the above, utilise the existing pipe work and add additional hoses to extend to get this to fit.
or up rate the smic, i don't really know the pros/cons of each. i would potentially looking at upgrading other bits in future, but nothing imminent.
