Rusty polo turbo mount

Hi all
New 2018 polo. 100 miles and the turbo mount is rusty and built from second world war Russian tractor cast offs.
Is this to be expected from vw ??
Surely it's not right

That doesn’t look right on a brand new car. Has anyone else who’s taken delivery of their new Polo got the same?

Manifolds gain surface rust very fast normally due to what they are cast from and the heat they deal with. I wouldnt expect that on a brand new vehicle though

Checked on mine, no rust anywhere (yet)
