I have CrossClimate+ on 15" and they have load index XL = very hard tire. I feel it.

Thanks, I wonder why the journalist Honest John recommends them? Have you compared them against other tyres on the same car?

I compared on new Ibiza, OEM Hankook Eco 2 (summer) vs Michelin CrossClimate+ for winter (both 185/65 R15). CrossClimate+ are very quiet tyres but feel uncomfortable on bumpy roads and braking distance is longer (30*C outside) than typical summer tyres (Hankook in this case).

Polo is small car, ~1010kg so tyres with extra load XL no needed for city. It is not a VAN / SUV / sedan.
