I have a 2003 1.4 tdi sport with RCD210 radio & 6 cd changer. I want to install a cable into the cd player socket on the radio so that I can use my Samsung phone to listen to music and use satnav etc. Very confused with all the various cables on offer.

I have seen cables up to £30 but wonder whether I can get away with spending a fiver or not.

I have tried these before. Not sure if I wasnt doing something right but they have never worked. Plugged into the CD player and the head unit directly and nothing.

Tried twice with two different leads.

If you have one of these radios you can use one of these adapters to plug in the back in place of the 6 cd changer. If you do have the radio in the picture it's worth taking it out and having a look at the port on the back just to make sure you are buying the right adapter. I had to send one back to them as it turned out to have a different connector plug on it.
