I’ve started to get the 5th gear whine, doesn’t seem too bad but it’s there.

No idea if it’s a recon box or the original. Car has 104k on it, likely to be a recon box.

I’m looking to source a recommended refurb person/trader - ideally I want to keep my my gearbox & have it refurbed, not swap it.

Gearlink in Salisbury are good. If you can have it removed they can ship it back to you
