Just musing over this one.

With around 200 VW dealers in the UK, and with some of those dealers having available cars in the pipeline with the first GTIs hitting the roads over the last few weeks.

In addition to this customer orders from people like me that have ordered the GTI prior to any landing on UK shores.

With no further build weeks, and break in production until after the WLTP debacle? is sorted out.

How many pre WLTP regs Polo GTI and GTI + models do you reckon will be registered in the UK?

Pretty sure all the pre factory shutdown Polo GTIs
will be onshore by now.
My dealership delivered a few.
Available cars on Carwow or auto trader has been less that 20.
Speculation, but I reckoned that there are fewer that 500 pre WLTP Polo GTIs

With VW performance, I think you'd be hard pushed to find 500?

At the end of quarter two, there were 120 registered according to this website. Be interesting to see what the Q3 results are as presumably this will give the answer to my question as it’s unlikely that there will be any registered in Q4..

Just wondering what are the corresponding months in car sales quarters? Wouldn’t q1 start in March here? If so then we’ve already seen all the pre gpf gti’s, if not I’ll shut up and wait to see! Either way it’s going to be a super rare little pocket rocket. Can’t imagine the gpf version having the same sweet exhaust note

Ah fair enough. I wonder if they might have used non standard quarters based on new registration dates.

I'd estimate about 400 units. Mine came from Listers. Across the whole Listers group, my contact gave me a choice of 4 GTI+ that hadn't been allocated a buyer - all were available pre-Sept. 200 dealerships, small ones getting a unit allocated if they want it, some getting 2 or 3.

We were Listers too. Ordered through auto ebid and listers had our exact spec (gti + deep black) with a build week of may and delivered mid July. Brilliant car

I got a Flash Red (my 1st choice colour) GTI+ From Listers with Brescia wheels, Nav and rear camera (only wanted the Brescias - but to avoid the wait...).

Been so impressed that I have an order in for another to replace our Golf R. Went for Pure White as thought it was best 2nd choice colour to show the GTI external styling, and wasn't fussed on an SE Polo in black that is in our street. Might change my mind for deep black pearl.

I also have a deep pearl black gti +. Got the demo from our dealership to avoid a wait. Car was originally registered end of June. Love the car and the deep black really shows off the external GTI styling and the red dash.

We also have an R-Line in pure white and that suits the shape well. Cannot comment for how the GTI styling looks though.

Mine was delivered on July 13th and since that time I haven’t seen another one on the road... Until today. And it was the same colour as mine too!

Ours came 20th July and didn’t see another until October. Took it in for warranty work in October too and was the first one our local dealer had seen or heard.

There were some delivered in May including Velodyne1200’s
