1.4 tdi not starting not cranking

My 1.4 tdi is not starting. Its intermittent.
Thought it was the dash cam which I hard wired - possibly due to constant live. But have disconnected and still had starting fault.
Have fully charged battery and give the car a run.
With diagnostics its shows 14.40 vaults at the battery. Have cleaned the battery connections.
When turning the key it all lights up as normal, then to crank everything turns off including clock, and if you hold the key there long enough you get a limp crank just one though.
Anybody know what could be the issue?
