Hi guys! I'm new here; I need your help please.
I tried to mount a new multifunction steering wheel with my polo 6c year 2015 (original without) but after installation; no button is functional or lit
I already found a diagram here in the forum for "polo 6c connectors in steering wheel column"

the model I chose does not contain cruise control

can my BCM support multifunction keys even without cruise control?
my BCM scan is:

I'm a bit unfamiliar with the 6C platform, but many retrofits will break down to this:
- Add wiring; did you add any wiring to the T16 connector, below the slip ring?
- Coding of the affected components, i.e. with VCDS. In this case, that would probably be the 09 Central Electrics module and the 17 Instruments module. Did you do this?

-precisely; I'm looking for what wiring I need to add to T16 connector to operate only the existing buttons. have you more of related wiring schemes?
-about coding with VCDS; when I check this box in 19-Gateway CAN:
mfsw.PNG
scan will take several minutes looking for "slave module" without having found it.

- 09 Central Electrics module and the 17 Instruments module ; I don't know what to do!

I suppose you could start wiring running a wire from pin 3 of the 16-pin connector on the steering wheel to T73c/13 (LIN) and a power wire form pin 4 to fuse SC14 (or another permanent 12V fused slot in the fuse box)
I'm afraid you'll need to replace the BCM, this is not something you can do yourself since the Polo 6C had the gateway in the BCM, and the gateway is subject to component protection. This needs to be done by a VW dealer.

Concerning coding, I don't know...

I will try with the power wire form pin 4 to fuse SC14 and I'll see

I think, als long as your BCM doesn't have the T73c/13 pin, there's hardly any chance for this mod to work.

Hi, sorry for the late reply.
After verifying the connector of slip ring I have found four wires (photo)
Slip ring connector (t16)
Slip ring connector (t16)
Pin number 02 is not white like scheme, is there another one for my car (trend) or is it a common scheme for all finishes?
Can I add juste the pin n°4 (12v)?

no, you need to check if pin 13 of block C is present.
if not, choose to stop the mod or replace the BCM (I don't know how to do this).

after changing BCM:
add pin 4 (12V), pin 3 (LIN to BCM) and do the coding for MFSW.

What about pin n°2 (white) / the mine is brown with black?

it's for cruise control (GRA), but your steering wheel doesn't have it so you can ignore it.

Hello Salas!
Were you able to finish this retrofit?
I'm doing the same retrofit now on my Polo 6C.
I have the same steering wheel as you pictured.
My BCM is a 6C0 937 089 B
PQ26 Hi4R H07 0065.
Thanks in advance!

Hi CKarhu. I have a polo 2017 with bcm 89b and mulitifunction steering while with cruise controls.
So it should be possible to do.
You would need new steering with the controls and coding in the bcm and gateaway.
