Has anyone done a remap on the 85ps 1.4 engine? I ask this in reference to the original topic that was in the 9N group regarding improved performance using V-power vs regular unleaded....

I would not think so as the number of these engines in use and the relative increase in power that a normally aspirated gets with revised bespoke ECU S/W would not be significant when balanced with the cost of that re-map.

Edit:- as it stands, I found the 86PS engine a "rocket ship" when compared with the earlier 75PS version I mentioned in the linked thread.

i looked into it when i had the same engine but manual, and i think you can get it to 98hp from what i remember with just a tune and no other mods, was pointless so never bothered
