Hello,
I’m new on here and seeking some advise... so I’ve got a 1979 mk1 polo 20k genuine mileage and there’s a hole in the rear drivers light from the previous owner. After searching on eBay everyday for 6months I’ve had no joy so I was wondering if anyone out there knows where I can buy one from or even knows of someone with one for sale?
Any help is appreacited and here’s a couple of photos of my mk1 to see what you reckon???? It’s not been showed since 2013

Hi
What a great looking car and amazing condition. You need to park your car next to the latest model to see how big the new Polo is now!
Worth trying the web site where you enter the part or registration number and the details are sent across several car breakers who then contact you if they have the part. One of many is below.

Good luck

You should start a new thread in the correct version of Polo in this forum as it will attract more attention from people that might just be able to help!

Have you tried breaker yards? There are Breakers brokers out on the net, you email them with the part you want and they have access to 100's of breakers all around the country who they email your details too. They in turn email you with the condition and the price they want including postage. Best of luck, it's a nice looking motor. I wonder how many 2018 polo's will look in 2057 ???? Afraid I won't be around to find out.
One thing though, take down them frilly things in the front screen.
"Rum4mo" can you put details or a link where "That-straight-polo" should go?

I have to say your car looks awesome, I have a soft spot for retro cool stuff and yours looks great, my first car was a similar colour, it’s right up my street!
