Headlight flicker when turning steering wheel

Hi I noticed that when I turn the steering wheel that my headlights flicker so does my interior light.
Also having high rpm like if the battery is weak.
I toke it to vw and they told me I have a charging problem
I have changed the battery and it’s still doing the same thing.
Both the battery and the alternator is putting out 14v any ideas on what it could be??
