The next to try is to change the RLS type. But still i have doubt in that. because I personally able to activate rain closing in one of my friend’s car with the same RLS model and sunroof. His sunroof did close except the windows, which is expected already since we didnot change any wrm or its coding.

Ciclo, I have got the wire today. Will get it installed in next two weeks (little busy till then). Keep you posted.

Meantime, can you share any more links to enable the features (I have enabled few based on the links you shared before).

Thank you very much for reporting.

Do you mean to the other VCDS tweaks that I've not shared with anyone yet? 🤣

Ciclo, installed the wire and the backup lamp error has gone. Many thanks.

living with the following errors,
1. DRL bulb errors - I have ordered different bulbs and will be changing in a month time
2. Steering angle calibration error - I am hearing this will not go up unless we install ESP. Also I couldn't find original VCDS (I feel it is costly to spend $200 purchasing original vcds to clear this error if at all possible). So for now leaving as is.

With this my installation gets completed :D and I would like to thank you (Ciclo) for all the help you provided and other friends who patiently answered all my silly questions that gave me a confidence doing these. I'm really thankful for all of you.

 Ciclo - I will knock the door if I had to install bi-xenon / LED lights in future.

Attaching the latest scan for reference,

Ciclo,

I'm planning to install ESP (ordered the parts). Can you help with 2 things,

1.
As we have already installed the steering angle sensor, now the pending items are only ESP module and ESP off button.
I was referring to the wiring diagram provided for ESP. It says T41/5 to be connected to T32/32. But in our wiring it is connected to SB9 +30 fusebox.
Image

here is the ESP block I ordered,
Image

Do I need to change this(T41/5) or should be good with the current one?

2.
Help me providing coding for ESP. I would like to enable the following options - ASR, HHC, XDS, Indirect TPMS

VIN - MEXJ1760XJT075118
Model - Diesel manual
current coding;

Code: Select all

1
- Forget the T32/32 in the diagrams, you don't have to touch anything here. It is a common +30 wire for several devices.
- Why didn't you install the T41/5 at +30 SB5 as it was indicated in the instructions?
- SB9 is a +15 signal and therefore is totally incorrect. Connect to SB5 +30 according to the installation guide (read again the installation guide ... WL0 and then viewtopic.php?f=56&t=72122&start=30#p547519 , clear as water).

Sorry for the following, I say it in a friendly way, do not ever do stupid things or foolish occurrences  if you want the G85 sensor to work properly for your new ESP system.

I suppose that for this reason it was impossible for the G85 to work properly before.

The +30 signal (before ignition switch) and the +15 signal (after you turn the ignition switch) are very different signals.

Ciclo,

Sorry for the wrong mention. It is connected to SB5 only (still thinking how I mentioned SB9 instead)

So I'll not touch the angle sensor. New install will be on ESP block and off switch only.

I'll refer the link for coding. Let me know any other institutions I have to follow.

Don't worry, we all make mistakes believing we did it right.

For this new installation of the ESP module I recommend that you contact iichel or firegrafik, they can advise you better on the small details for this installation.

To facilitate their work and receive a quick reply:
- Post your progress/questions here.
- Link to them here.

It is not very easy to calculate an ESP9.0i coding, but I'll give it a try. I don't have any scans of cars that received this from factory.
My best guess for your ESP 9.0i module:

62DD2C63212A07C54615346A8459E082090D

With
HHC
ASR disabling by button
TPMS indirect
XDS

If you know anyone with the same configuration and ESP9.0i (VW Vento/Polo Sedan, RHD, diesel engine, manual), please post the coding here.
This will make the accuracy of the coding better.
