Hi
Please could someone send me a picture of what the clips should look like that the parcel shelf cords / strings hook over - mine has no clip on the inside of the boot lid and I am not sure what these should actually look like.
Thanks

Mine legit just has 2 screws and the string has a loop on the send that goes over the screws, unsure if this was like it was at stock or if it's DIY but works will take a photo tomorrow

I was very lucky/reactive and caught these clips in time, ie the day my wife reported that one broke in the wind, so I drilled a hole down through the entire plastic lug and applied glue and beefed it up with a long thin screw, that held until we got rid of that car at 13 years 105K miles.
If all that you have been left with is the stump, then I'd get hold of a suitable piece of black plastic and drill down through it and down through the stump and glue and screw these bits together, maybe add a suitable washer at the top to form a lip to keep the strap on.

Should be similar - ish to ours (2002).
As Rum/Cpt Redex posted - if ours broke I would do a fix in situ along the lines of using a screw or dowel.

Ah a picture shows it all, and corrects my idea that they were black pegs, not so just part of the rear trim panel!
The 6C Polo has no trim in that area so uses snapped in black pegs, maybe buying a couple of them and cutting the broken ends down flush, then drilling down and glueing and screwing them would be an option if you can’t find any suitable material to repair them.
Edit:- I have just checked up on the part number for these individual snap in pegs for a 2015 6C Polo and they are 1M6 867 574 A
you could order a couple in from a VW dealer’s parts department, then cut the stubs left on your trim and drill and fit them, just another option that is all.

To be fair - they might vary a little between models, but should be easy enough to 'bodge' with a screw etc - as long as the trim panel is not too badly damaged around the clips/pegs.
