Navigation system

Hey all just wondering if someone couls help please please. I have just bought a vw polo 15 and the instruction manual says it has a navigation stystem but on the dashboard it doesnt have that function.
Spoke to vw and they have said £640 to add the function which is Crazy!!! The car also has a mirror screen so I could mirror screen my phone and use maps there but I need a pass key to activate that. Can anyone help with a work around?
