There’s a set here at VW Motorparts online store at £64.01. They’re the generic Polo mats though; the GTI mats are edged in red, which probably give VW an excuse to charge more for the GTI-specific mats.

There are cheaper alternatives - Carmats2U get quite a few mentions on one of the Golf forums as being very good, and you can tailor the mats to your requirements; grade of carpet, colour and type of edging etc. (I’ve not used then myself, so can’t vouch for them personally). A set of four black standard quality carpet mats with plain red edging would cost £25.99. These standard mats are probably a similar quality to the VW OEM mats. If you want better quality, Carmats2U offer a number of upgrade options.

Thanks very much for those links,,
Will probably nip to Loughton VW and pick some og mats for the gti so I will expect around £80 to £100? for the correct mats,,
I don’t imagine they are more then that ( fingers crossed ),,
I like to keep things to original spec when possible,
It’s a very quick little car and I think it would have left the r32 mk5 behind in a dash away from the lights being and feeling so much lighter then the golf

They do look nice in blue I must admit.
Mines a 16 plate, 3 door, black. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
I bought my mats from Volkswagen direct parts, 2 rubber front mats which are great with all this crap weather we are having recently. Cost was 55 with postage.

The 6C Polo GTI came with red-edged carpet mats as standard, it was part of the advertised UK spec. At least it was for my 2015 car.

Thanks for the help and reply’s,
Have ordered some og GTI mats from main dealer we purchased car from,,
I found it interesting that you cannot order GTI mats unless you own a Polo GTI and MD parts dept will ask for your reg before taking the order,,,Chap at parts told me this,,
