Hello everyone.
Today my Polo Highline showed this message, I know I must take the car to a VW dealer to check this error, but I´d like to know if someone else here faced this issue and if so, what was it?

Thanks.

Only read about it. Working in limp mode, probable mechatronics unit partial failure. Get it to the dealership ASAP.

I take it as given you've got the 7 speed dry clutch DSG box? Only the GTI gets the 6 speed wet clutch box as far as I'm aware.

Mine isn't the DSG, but a 6-speed tiptronic. Thanks.

How old is your car? Is it a new one (AW generation)?

Only DSG in the current range, for most if not all European markets.

Yeah I don't think there has been a "Tiptronic" gearbox used in any VAG car for about a decade, they are either manual, DSG or full auto (in the more powerful cars like V6 TDi Touareg, A6's, A8's and US spec Golfs etc (as they don't seem to like DSG's).
