Front Badge Modification

Good Afternoon,
I am interested in turning my Polo Mk6's front badge black but it seems like there is a cover protecting the badge itself. Any idea on how to remove it?

It is the sensor for the auto braking and ACC (if fitted) covering it will cause errors and failure of those systems, breaking it open to do so will mean a few hundred quid to replace it after realising what you've done.

Well all UK spec ones have the emergency braking assist thing, I would suspect all Malta spec cars would have it as well as I think it is part part of the reason it got such a high score in the Euro Ncap due to it being standard on all models sold in Europe.

exactly all polos are fitted with this sensor
