Look in your hand book, it's got pictures in there which screws to remove before you push out the headlight unit from the back.

Will dig it out. Had a look in the online one and couldn’t see it. Must be looking at the wrong page.

Struggling to get the headlight out after I have unscrewed the three screws. Is it just push it out from behind? It wouldn’t budge with moderate force.

They are a swine, took me ages to get mine as I was worried about knocking the paint, but a big thud from behind should pop them out.

I think that doing this the first time is always going to be tricky, both from the fact that you have not done this before on that model of car and maybe even because these cars are assembled in a space that is a bit warmer than outside in UK is right now. My wife has a 6C Polo and prompted by someone asking me how to do this, I took the plunge and eventually got the headlights out - so now I know for the future!

There aren't three bolts that need undoing, just two per headlight.
Then a thump from behind and they pop out no problem.
Trying various bulbs, I must have done it at least six times now.
