hi guys I'm new to your forum I have 2002 1.2 polo Which i've just brought the power steering isn't working i've replace the pump what type of pas oil does it take im sure its not red which came out the old pump i thing previous owner has put wrong oil in it. Also second hand pump fitted is it plug and play or do i need to programming it

Hum, depending on its current coding it might okayish, if I was you, I’d read the programming from the original pump’s controller and copy that across to the new pump for the best outcome.

Fluid, should be the green fluid in Vw spec G 004 000 M2

hi guys, i am driving Polo MK4 (9N).

I always refill the pump and upon checking i realized that the return pipes busted. I want to know whether i can have it fixed or should replace it.
