My GTi+ has started to make a sound when opening the doors and the electrics kick in, similar to the type of "start up' sound you get when turning on your phone/tablet or electronic equipment.

I haven't changed any settings and can't find anything to enable/disable it in the menu either.

Along with this I'm getting a random" beep" sound too, totally random, not consistent with anything.

Just wondered if anyone else had similar, my R-Line does neither sound and this is is the first I have known the GTi+ do it too.

You have not left a CD in the player, or if it has NAV is there a map CD in the drive?

No, never used the CD and don't have maps. It's stopped doing it now, I reset to factory on the display, very strange!!

Is autopilot disabled?

Got a dash cam fitted, some of them beep when you switch on?

Correct, it was that, it had reset itself for some reason so I just had to turn off sounds! I thought I had posted on here the cause back then but clearly forgot, thanks for reminding me
