Seat Ibiza 6j Upgrading BCM and Auto light with CH/LH
Seat Ibiza 6j Upgrading BCM and Auto light with CH/LH
Hey guys,
I own a Seat ibiza 6j 1.2TSI from 2013, with :
-H7 Halogen lights
-Heated Seats
-fog lights
-Headlight washers
-automatic air conditioning
ect.
Unfortunately without Auto Light with CH/LH and rain sensor.
My plan was to retrofit the rain / light sensor on the glass and then to activate the automatic light.
I already mounted the rain / light sensor on the glass and wired it.
On the way there I found out that my BCM (6R0937087P)only supports the rain function, so i bought the 7H0937090B.
After switching and coding the BCM i noticed that there is no turning Signal, no light in the instrument cluster and the windows, radio key are not working.
I read a lot in this forum, especially from ciclo and figured out that i have maybe to connect Pin 28 and 29 from the Instrument cluster with the BCM 54/57 Pins is this correct ?
Furthermore, I need help to get the Auto light with CH/LH wiring.
would be nice if someone could help me.
Thanks in advance and I'm sorry for any mistakes.

Re: Seat Ibiza 6j Upgrading BCM and Auto light with CH/LH
Update:
BCM is working wiring from T73b/57 to T32/29 and T73b54 to T32/28 was necessary.
Furthermore, I have connected the following cable :
Dimmed headlights :
T73a/2 to T101/6
T73b/2 to T10a/6
SC57 to T73a/63
SC58 to T73b68
and bridged the J331 Relay T10d/3B to T10d/5B.
Following wiring need to be done :
T73a/37 to T17/12
T73a/45 to T17/13 (isolate original)
T73a/6 to T17/9 (Pinout and connect)
T73b/43 to T17/9
T73b/4 to E20 T6f/3 (isolate original)
T73b/7 to T17/16 (Pinout and connect)
bridge from T17/16 to T17/5
is this correct ?
Now I do not understand why I need the Relai J828 although after the removal of the J331 headlight flasher still work.

Re: Seat Ibiza 6j Upgrading BCM and Auto light with CH/LH
Update 2:
Right now i understand why i need the Relai J828, its for the High Beam in Auto Light position.
I did the wiring above and have currently the following Problems :
-The front fog lamps do not light when activated at the switch. However, on the Corning
Light function. Also the rear fog lights do not work.
-Error 00457 Tried to solve this by setting adaption channel 1 to value 1. Did not work
The fan of the Climatronic does not work when the ignition is on. However, when the engine is on.
-Rainsensor does not work. (wrong coding i guess)
-Error 02195 something is wrong with the Light Dimmer Switch
-Coming Home is not working
So the good news are :
- Leaving Home is working.
- Auto-Light also

I changed the BCM already and coded it. Everything works so far except the above described things.
If you need further pictures or more informations i will post them asap.

while I verify the RLS and BCM codings, please, post an old Autoscan with the old BCM 087, ... with all units OK, if possible. thanks.

Re: Seat Ibiza 6j Upgrading BCM and Auto light with CH/LH
There are some Bytes in your BCM Max coding that are not correct, ... it is better to wait to see the old Autoscan with your old BCM High 087. Tomorrow.
With the new RLS coding the rain sensor should work correctly.

If with the new BCM coding the problem of the dimmer (E20) is not solved you'll have to change the terminal from T73b/4 to T73b/1 to feed the 58d signal. (same new coding)
2
It is possible that according to your personal tastes or installed bulbs (LEDs, etc) you want to change some behavior of the lights (DRLs, or others), so the new coding can be modified.
---
Post a new Autoscan with the new BCM and RLS codings (for future readers/users). With a little luck, all units will be OK.

Re: Seat Ibiza 6j Upgrading BCM and Auto light with CH/LH
Thanks for your coding.
Unfortunately I have no vcds and my friend who owns vcds is on holiday until the 29th.
He has all my scans. I will post the scan from the 87 BCM and try the new coding when he returns.
I want upgrade to full led headlights from Seat Leon or Ateca if possible soon.
Were the problems with the fog lights and climatronic caused by the wrong coding?
Is it possible to activate the interior light only when it is dark?
Thank you a lot
