MPPS remapping

Hello everyone,
I'm not particularly sure this is the right place to post this question, but here goes:
I've been looking to do a DIY remap on my Polo and have stumbled upon blacksmoke.co.uk. I've ordered an MPPS cable from eBay and am now trying to figure out what files I should use.
It seems that their website has 2 files for my engine, but my ECU serial number varies slightly. They list a remap file for 045906019 and 045906019AB, but my car seems to have a 045906019AP.
I can't really seem to find any info online about the similarities or the risks involved in flashing the AB version on the AP ECU, but it doesn't really sound right.
Is there anyone around which could give me a hand in figuring this out?
