UK-POLOS.NET - THE VW Polo Forum

Hi All,

My Polo is currently out of commission and off the road and i'm looking to disconnect the battery, when doing so the alarm went off when i disconnected the battery terminals.
I then reconnected the battery... turned the ignition of the car on and then disconnected the battery and currently have silence, Am i likely to have an issue in the middle of the night? or is the Alarm disabled?

To play safe, I'd be included to locate the alarm box, unplug it from the car and maybe even cut open the alarm box and unplug its battery/batteries.
