UK-POLOS.NET - THE VW Polo Forum

Hi guys.

Been using Android Auto for a while now but suddently it has stopped connecting.
It says that my phone is locked, but when i unlock nothing happens.
It automaticly registers that it is suppose to open, but it can't and sends out the same error message every time.


What I've tried so far.

1. Unlocking the phone when asked to.
2. Checked the apps permisions and everything was in order.
3. Switching to the other USB port in the car.


Any help or insight would be appreciated

Have you recently updated android auto? There was an update fairly recently

What phone have you got?

Try the following:

Settings > Apps & Notifications > Google Play Services > Storage > Clear Cache

I've been having some issues myself since the update. Rebooting my phone sorts out the issues 9 times out of 10.

The Android Auto Forum is also pretty helpful.
