Help with fuel pump module

Hello currently my cold start idle up does not work, the car runs fine and door lights / door switches work fine my car originally had a 1.4tsi non turbo which did not have a fuel pump module instead it had a relay controlling the power to the pump now I have installed a 1.2tsi which has a fuel pump module I wired everything correctly wire to wire fuel gauge works, pulse width wire etc hooked up correctly except there is one signal wire that's not attached maybe this is for the fuel priming activation? As my car will crank over longer once it sits and the fuel pressure drops. Any help on where I can find a module electrical diagram would be great thanks.

ErWin will have everything you need.
I have been looking into how the low pressure fueling works on my 6c gti.
On that there are two connections to terminal 30 and one to terminal 15 on the fuel pump controller on top of the tank.
So I'm guessing that you are missing terminal 15 which I'd guess would prime as you switch the ignition on.

Hey man thanks when you say terminal you are talking about to the fuse on the fuse box or the point on the bcm?

Terminal 30 is a permanent 12v
Terminal 15 is an ignition switched 12v
They will probably all be fused separately

OK understood this morning I bypassed the power for the pump through the module ran the pump with a direct 12v and the cold start worked idles high for around 30 secs then comes down so I will do as you say and check the pinout will keep you updated also will this also make the pump prime when the door is opened?

i doubt it would tbh as i believe the priming occurs when the ignition is switched on but i can only speak for what i found out about my car.

Thanks a lot brother have not tried to wire in the pin as of yet my polo 1.4 n/a came with a white top fuel pump and relay system no module if I were to run this 1.2tsi engine with this same setup instead of the blue top fuel pump and module will it have any adverse effects? Also what's the difference between the white top and blue top fuel pump?

not sure on the difference between the fuel pumps tbh (i doubt there is a lot between them)
the cars that run the module usually run returnless and just alter the speed of the pump to maintain the correct pressure. the other way is to run the pump flat out and return the fuel to the tank using a fuel pressure regulator to maintain pressure.
if it was me i think i would run at least the fuel pump module to keep the fuel pressure in line and remove any fuel pressure regulator.

OK well both have two lines coming out and well I'm guessing the regulator is in the fuel filter because the filter has two lines going in from the tank and one line going in to the engine.
