Rear fog dash/wiring

As with my other post, I mentioned an issue I have with the new(to me) 04 1.9 TDI polo I have!
Dashboard rear fog light comes on with side and main beams. Now this is just the dash light, the fog light on rear only comes on when pulled out(as it should) .Took switch out and found some interesting wiring.(attached)
My assumption here is the wiring is off? I also assume this is to do with the front dogs, as the rear are mandatory(fronts optional)? Any help is super appreciated
