you can fit any mfsw you like

but on the MQB wheels (5Q0... 6C0...) the button illumination will not work.

You can use the 6r wheel with the buttons only left. Or the golf Mk6 steering wheels with buttons on both sides.

Would the mk6 mfsw retrofit still require new wires to be added for a car without mfsw from the factory?

Hi guys, finally I found the MFSW for mi polo 6r. It is the normal steering wheel of the polo 6c. Could you please help me to fit it? An other answer: this MFSW was from a vw Passat, can it be fixed on polo? Thanks

Hi guys. Finally I found the MFSW for my polo 6r, I have some answer to ask. The MFSW was installed on a vw Passat. Is It the same of the polo 6c? How can I install it without any problem? I have also the cruise control and I would like to put it on the botton of the WHEEL. I will send also the pictures of it and of my bcm. Thanks to everyone, hopefully that you answer me.

No it's not the same wheel, I think it might have white lights and not red lights like on Polo 6C.

My Polo 6R has the radio controls on the LHS of the steering wheel.
If I fitted an MFSW wheel from a Golf 6 would there be any extra wiring required, or would it be plug and play?
The car currently has MFA controls on the right hand stalk.

plug and play, but I'd recommend to disconnect the TRIP wires in the back of the cluster to avoid conflict between MFSW and TRIP input.

Great, thanks.
Do you know if the airbag will be the same for both wheels?
