Dashcam interference

Just wondering if anyone has had a dashcam installed and if they had any issues with DAB radio interference. I have watched a couple of videos regarding installation and they seem to mention the interference with the DAB radio so need to use the ferrite core as close to the camera as possible. The only issue i have with that is i would rather have it hidden away and it is quite chunky to expect to be able to fit it in the roof liner so wondering if anyone has come across this issue before and if anyone has any ideas of how to get round it. Looking at the Nextbase 522GW with possibly getting the rearview camera installed too.

I have the 512gw hard-wired in, don't use the ferrite core and don't have an issue with the DAB radio.
My understanding is that the ferrite core is used to squash high-frequency noise pickup from other conductors (eddy currents). As the dashcam is powered from a 5V DC source, that power cable is not going to introduce noise to other cables let alone the DAB radio as the current is pretty stable and doesn't change rapidly.
Now the rear camera does have to send video signal so there will be some sort of rapid current change that could cause interference but I don't see how putting a ferrite core/bead on that cable would stop interference with the DAB. A ferrite core job is to remove noise from other devices, not the other way around.
There are many users here on the forum that run rear view cameras with no issues to the best of my knowledge.

I do have a dash cam, but no rear camera, and I don't get any interference, as for putting a ferrite core in the head lining, there is plenty of room.
I have mine hard wired.

Mine was hard wired by VW. Use DAB quite a bit and had no issues so far.

Funny you should say that, I spent 4 hours the other day meticulously hard wiring the 522GW + rear view camera into my car. I run both wires through the same ferrite core and noticed yesterday that the DAB wasn't working. I'll keep an eye on it and report back if I come up with any useful info.
