Blue GT gearbox noise

You have exactly the same noise that I described back in 2019, and a couple of other people with Blue GTs also said they had. Noise is less noticeable when the engine (and gearbox oil) is cold.

4 years and 8000 miles later the noise doesn’t seem to have got any worse. It does seem to be a characteristic of the MQ350 gearbox fitted in these cars, together with a lack of sound insulation. Which is what the VW master technician told me.

Thanks for reply much appreciated I wasn't actually notified of response. I'm probably going to change gearbox oil as its 8 years old now. Car seems solid and I'm happy with it I just wanted a decent smaller run around and it hasn't disappointed yet 6 months on
