Gti Sat Nav problem November

I recently noticed a problem with my VW sat nav. The maps and display were fine but when I selected “ Home “ as a destination it reported an error in not being able to give directions. It seemed ok on some other destinations.
I have just been into the VW garage and they contacted VW who said there had been problems caused by the last map update. They say a solution will be available during December with a new map update. So much for Germans never making mistakes.
Not too bothered as I now use the sat navigation very rarely .
