Thanks in advance 8)

Hello,

These people are fab for spraying/repairing scratches. Used them many times and they always get the colour spot on.

Oh right sorry bud.

Sorry no idea then! Whenever they have done repairs on my car they always look on the boot for the paint code, maybe have a look in the boot for a sticker or something where the spare wheel goes?

@Alfredo; I don’t think the car data sticker on the boot floor or in the front of the service book will have the paint code for the door mirror caps - it’s likely that only the paint code for the car’s bodywork will be on the data sticker.

If you’re going to get them both repainted, does it really matter if they’re not exactly the same shade of red as they are now? (assuming there are no other red bodywork trim pieces that are the same colour red that the door mirror caps are at the moment that you need to match the repainted mirror caps with).

You could always get them painted Flash Red, which is VW’s solid red paint colour for the Polo.

Have you tried asking VW Customer Services? I recently asked them for the paint name and code for my Montani alloy wheels, and they came back very quickly with the info.
