Had another glitch in the car today.
Got out of my car, and tapped the door to lock it.
Went round to my boot, opened it and got some belongings out of it.
As I walked away, the boot opened again!
I pulled the boot open and gave it a slam shut, and 2 seconds later, the motorised latch moved, hazards flashed and the boot opened...

Got my keys out of my pocket to make sure my button wasn't clicking, but nope it happened again.

I then left my keys away from the boot and closed it. It stayed closed.

I'm thinking water has got in somewhere and keeps triggering the boot switch.
Anyone else had this ?

It is now working correctly and appears to be happy, but I'm concerned it might happen again in the future.

Not had that but keyless on both our GTI+ is a bit flaky - sometimes you'll grab a door handle to unlock and instead of unlocking it'll click to lock again, or be unresponsive - probably one time in 6.

Tried to get into mine the other day and as I put my hand behind the handle, some message flashed up on the dash display. Didn't catch it properly to read it.
Had to unlock with key fob.
Only happened the once.

Found the issue.
My car thought I'd locked my key inside, so it released the boot hatch. Very clever really, except my key was in my hand..

So it looks like the key detection hardware in my boot is a little over sensitive!
If the key is too close to the boot door, it thinks the key is inside
