water pump leak

Hi all
After some searching on my car for the abs issue I found a pretty bad leak from the water pump. It explains a lot because my partner comes to me once a month saying the car beeped at her and its to do with cooling.
I have a 2015 1.2 tsi 66kw polo. just want to try and find out if there are any after market parts for it and what install might take me.
I have read about some water pumps on this sub section and found a guide which entails timing belts/chains which make sense.
Also are there after market parts?
I have been quoted 1250 dollarydoos (AUD About 640 GBP) which is a bit. I have also read that there is special VAG tools. can anyone confirm?
If I were to go with the shop, would it be wise to do the 100k major service at the same time since its all sort of in that area.
