Hi guys,

Has anyone with halogen headlights on their Polo's tried retrofitting the LED headlamps? There's a few videos on youtube which shows it as a straight plug and play with something like this. Just curious on what are people’s experience with retrofitting these and the quality/longevity (since these are aftermarket and not OEM).

Also does anyone know if the 10 pin plug is standard across all VW Polo AW’s (specifically GTI), or does it differ country by country (I’m from Australia). I presume it’ll be standard across since from memory all Polo AW’s are manufactured in South Africa

Ι οrdered them and now i am waiting... I spoke with some guys in Instagram and its perfect!!! I suggest them! If i they come i can present them..

I was one of the first to buy, and I'm using since November 2019, got the all led version with red stripe. Working good so far.

Extra information:
-Low beam uses D2H lamp (hard to find), and high beam a H7
-The turn signal (blinker) is "dynamic", different from the OEM headlight
-When you turn on, it has a bizarre animation (the LEDs flash, the top bar turns blue and then turns white again, like a Mercedes-Benz

Does it require extra wiring for the DRL? OR its plug and play? Also the link from aliexpress is not working. I have the polo 2018 (aw1) i think it will be safe to buy these headlights. Right?

Φιλαράκι να ξέρεις θα φας τελωνείο. Τα φανάρια γαμανε άμα θες και είσαι Αθήνα να συναντηθούμε να τα δεις. Εγώ με dhl τα πήρα σε 5 μέρες είχαν έρθει.

Ποσο τελωνειο πληρωσες; Εχω την highline εκδοση, που εχει φωτα ημερας led στον προφυλακτηρα αλλα οχι στα φαναρια. Ειμαι απο μακρυα δυστηχως φιλε μου.
