it sound's like rubbery gunk from the seals, try giving ure car a wash with a jet washer, mine did that abit when i 1st got it but it is ok now after a couple of washes,

I get the same on mine - only trouble is the car is white and it shows a lot!!!!

I washed it and used a soft brush and lots of car shampoo to try and get as much out as possible but I still get it after the car has been washed or it rains......

I'll try a jet wash but I do find those things can be a little bit fierce so tend to avoid them...

the only other thing i can suggest is maybe puting a new complete set of mouldings on the car but that would be well expensive !!!!!

It's not the mouldings that create the black streaks it's the stuff they glue the rear window and quarter windows in with - I might have a word with my friendly autoglass man and see if he has any ideas

could you not find some sort of protective sealant to cover the seals with?

I never had this problem with mine... :?
