I managed to source polo 6c led headlights from an accident car. On one of the lights the low beam seems to have come out of its screw due to impact . Would be great if anyone here can tell me the best possible way to fix it.

Sand with 600,800,1000,1500,2000 wet grit paper, then use 3M green cap and polish with a drill attachment ( foam or wool pad will do the job)

Damn i tought it was a scratch ahahahahhaha

FAIL

Perhaps you could try to open the headlight at the rear and pull it back into position.

@sharan1988; I don’t know if it’s possible to fix your headlamp unit. You’d probably need to break it open to remove the front lens cover to see if the internal parts can be re-attached to the inside of the housing. Breaking open the headlamp Unit requires it to be heated up to soften the adhesive / sealant between the lens cover and the housing and that carries a risks of;
  • damaging the headlamp unit beyond repair if heated too hot, or breaking the lens cover if care isn’t taken when attempting to remove it.
  • the headlamp unit no longer being watertight if an effective seal between the housing and lens cover isn’t created when the unit is re-assembled.
  • possibly injury from handling a hot headlamp unit if appropriate precautions aren’t taken.
There are various videos and tutorials available online that show how to break open a headlamp unit. I’ve never tried to do this so don’t know how easy or successful it’s likely to be. Here’s a couple of videos and a tutorial (there are others) I found online from searching on ‘opening up car headlamp units’;

If you attempt this, good luck, although ultimately, you may need to buy a replacement headlamp unit. Please update the forum with the outcome if you do decide to break open the headlamp unit.
