N249 delete

So done the n249 delete on the polo and got the light on ddash does anyone no the p code for it all it throws out is just numbers when I do the scan also could this be the reason the car "vtecs" how it feels when put foot down powers there but hits in three stages also power steering pump all wires have power going to them so how do I check if the pump is getting power cars a 1.8t gti polo
