Hi,

Just wondering what sort of miles people have (or had) on their 1.4 TDI PD engines?, mines got nearly 197,000 miles on it, this car is my daily - still pulls well & uses a minimal amount of oil between it's yearly service.

If of interest during the 10 or so years I've only use ECP's (below) own branded oil & buy it when ECP or CP4L have one of their perma-offers on for around £20 for 5 litres.

Thanks for the tip on oil, will give it a try as due an oil change soon
Mine has a low 108500 and just got it back on the road!

Mine has 200350 miles on it, and have had it from new (2003), always used Quantum Platinum 5W/40.
I believe this is what VW use and recommend.
Engine has always been reliable and have never had any engine problems, always done an annual service, and repaired myself.
Buy parts from AVS Car parts.
