Seat fabric protection - advice please

So collecting the new car Tuesday.
I’ve not paid for the VW interior/exterior protection stuff as I’ve always thought just a money maker for them and as commented lots on here probably not applied properly.

However I’d like to put some protection on the interior......I have two kids, a wife and two dogs after all!
So I just wanted to check.....

Is it worth it?
Does it really make a difference?
If so, what reasonably priced products would you recommend?

Gtechniq I1 is probably the best out there, works on all fabrics, mats etc

Get the 1l bottle if you're doing all seats, mats and carpets under the mats as you do have to almost soak the fabric to get the performance from it

Gyeon fabric coat did the carpets the seats used it on all my cars
