Hey everyone,

I think my Polo might have been in an accident before I bought it - the lower grille trim and headlamp on the passenger side look much newer, the panel gaps on the front wing aren't great, and it's had a replacement window regulator put in on the passenger side using non-standard bolts - think DIY-style, shiny zinc plated bolts, not VW Black ones. They broke the trim clips on the passenger side door card too.

Anyway, the window regulator is missing a bolt and rattling away. Does anyone know where I can buy the proper VW screws/bolts so that it'll look relatively original?

While I'm in there, the original speakers sound a little tinny sometimes. Has anyone upgraded their speakers? Is it worth doing?

All of the fixings should be available from your VW dealer. You could probably search for an equivalent online, but would need to know the correct thread, length and head type.
