Re: BCM Max Transporter 2013
Generate the parameter/data file again. You must select which diagnostic tool you are going to use - VCP - and the unit - 3AA907273F - in which the dataset will be loaded.
The two parameter editors shown here worked perfectly for me (no mystery at all), for both VCP and ODIS.
viewtopic.php?p=525012#p525012
Once the new parameters are loaded, you should take the van for a short ride until the TPMS unit receives the signals from the wheel sensors.
For me it worked once I had traveled about 100 m, but there are people who say that they had to do a few km.
Then each day, or each new ride, you have to wait to go a certain distance for the tire pressures to update on the MFD. Tire pressures are highly dependent on the temperature of the tires.
I can no longer live without this invention.

Re: BCM Max Transporter 2013
Yesterday I have tried the RDKS editor, But VCP didn't accept the file (wrong format) as seen in the pic
today I have tried the github, VCP had accepted the file, but another error had came when writing the file

You have to check the box where it says 'EraseFullMemory' before clicking on 'Upload selected data',
and everything will work like a charm.

Thanks Fernando, I have added the parameters, but still no numbers on each tire, when the pressure is low, A warning shows up

Re: BCM Max Transporter 2013
Please could you explain it another way, I don't understand what you mean, it seems contradictory.
If there is a warning on the MFD due to low pressures it means the system works ...
What do you mean 'still no numbers on each tire'? In what conditions? Do you have a picture of what you want to say?
---
If you have the 'Vehicle Status' menu selected in the MFD, the first image you see (always) when you turn the key in the ignition switch is with the wheel pressures in this "---" state.
Until you start to move with the van, the numbers-pressures will not be displayed. The control unit has to receive the signals from the sensors (orange) you installed on the wheels, and this only happens when the wheels are in motion.

I have traveled with my car three days, but the number pressures never came up, I have tried to re-flash the TPMS unit, reload the zdc file with the parameters, but still the sameciclo wrote: ↑Wed Apr 14, 2021 4:14 am

According to VSDS all sensors are working probably

Hello shadow109
From the information you've provided, it looks like the tpms module is unable to determine the wheel position in which sensors is present.
Where have you placed the tpms module?
In advanced measuring values of address 65, the sensor location should be displayed, see mine below.

Re: BCM Max Transporter 2013
Thank you very much for the more than clear explanation.
Robert, a great guy and also a user of this forum, developed a thread on the T6 forum about installing direct TPMS on T5/T6.
Due to the same symptoms you are having, some users found that the placement of the TPMS unit (for vans) is very important so that it can receive the signals from the wheel sensors properly. They determined that it should be in an external and centered place.
You already have the correct TPMS unit and sensors for your van (instrument cluster), read the last pages of Robert's thread, or the entire thread if necessary.
https://www.t6forum.com/threads/direct- ... ost-222702 maybe here is the solution 4U.

I guess I will try different place for the sensor

Re: BCM Max Transporter 2013
Hope it's OK to post this here...
I finally fitted my Direct TPMS module at the weekend based on the wiring diagram above, I wasn't able to see it with VCDS at first, it turns out I had crossed the Can High and Low where I joined it at the BCM Not the first time crossed wires have caused me a problem this week, but the other one was on an 11,000V cable at work so this was a much easier fix
I re-made the connection tonight, and I can now see it with VCDS. However, nothing is displayed in my instrument cluster - no selection for tyre pressure under units either. From what I've read no further coding is required after enabling address 65. The sensors aren't yet installed in the wheels, I would imagine this wouldn't stop it showing in the cluster though?
I have the colour 3D cluster so I believe it should work - unless maybe the software on it needs updating. I do have VCP now for uploading the tyre pressure file, so presumably could update the cluster with VCP if required.
Latest autoscan is here - https://pastebin.com/97AwHbyN
Video of cluster operation here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qapwft5 ... amKeyworth

No menu will be displayed until you load the wheel pressure parameters into the TPMS unit (VCP or ODIS).
It could be for another reason, but this reason is the usual ...

Re: BCM Max Transporter 2013
That would make sense, as I haven't done that bit yet
I'll try again tomorrow and report back! It's also in the garage next week for a new rear tyre and the sensors to be fitted as well
