engine swap

good evening i`ve recently swapped a gti engine i believe the original engine code was a arc and i ve fitted a avy engine now i have a sensor that was in the head missing!!! has anyone else had this problem? as this will now through up a fault with oil pressure!! can this be sorted or do i need to replace the head so the sensors on it?
